Oferece a toda a popula\u00e7\u00e3o cuidados de sa\u00fade em diversas \u00e1reas m\u00e9dicas, incluindo a Endocrinologia, al\u00e9m de ser excel\u00eancia em treinamento m\u00e9dico especializado.<\/p><p>A Unidade de Endocrinologia e Diabetes \u00e9 formada por dez m\u00e9dicos assistentes e dezesseis m\u00e9dicos residentes e especializandos em forma\u00e7\u00e3o. Recebe, em m\u00e9dia, 800 pacientes por m\u00eas, incluindo atendimentos de emerg\u00eancia, ambulatorial e internamentos. Oferece apoio multidisciplinar nas \u00e1reas de nutri\u00e7\u00e3o, cirurgia bari\u00e1trica e psicologia. Com doze leitos dispon\u00edveis, serve a pacientes que necessitam de investiga\u00e7\u00e3o e\/ou tratamento de patologias endocrinol\u00f3gicas.
